Awakino
Estate is a combination of 2 farms: Awakino Heads and
Pioi Station.
It includes an Angus and Hereford stud and is the home of the
internationally successful Three-B- Welsh Pony and Cob Stud. Awakino
Estate encompasses around 3,300 acres overlooking the Tasman sea
allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the natural wonder of
the central north island of New Zealand. Awakino Estate borders 8
kilometres of unspoilt coastline offering spectacular views.
Walking leads you to untouched forest where animal life abounds.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own horses for beach and farm
rides, or to use our riding arena.
The Estate offers a number of different houses to stay, and Bed
and Breakfast at the Rosegarden Homestead. We have the ability
to accommodate up to 26 guests.
Awakino Estate is 1 1/2 hours drive south from Hamilton or 1 hours
drive north of New Plymouth on State Highway 3.
The Estate is opposite to the Awakino River.
